About those rules

When I taught fifth grade, I was a big rules person. But after reading this Edutopia article, Classroom Mangement Built on Boundaries by Megan Moore,  I might change to the boundaries approach.  What do you think?

Classroom management can be a struggle even for the most experienced educator.  I found this article by Scott Ervin 5 Ways to De-Escalate Challenging Student Behavior an interesting read. Will every strategy work for every child (I think I have to work on my confused eye a little)- maybe not, but at least I will be aware of more options.
