Lots of ways ...

Write a listing for the home of a character your students are studying.

Review the home of a historical figure.

Write contrasting reviews (positive and negative) from two perspectives on the same place.

Write a "before" listing and an "after" listing based on a significant world event (like a war).

Students write a listing for a place they'd love to stay to share about themselves with the class.

While it is always a good time to reflect, this time of the year seems to plead for it.  In his blog post, Matt Miller shares a variety of options. Check out the options and see which one would work best for your students. Number 3 (My Learning Awards) and Number 7 (Reflecting on my learning) were my favorites.

Templates are a great way to jump-start a variety of projects.  On

Templates for Teachers (created by  Sarah Kiefer and Beth Kingsley), you will find

a wide range of templates.  Use the search filters(age, audience, application)

or just browse through the collection.  You can either share the link or

use the template then make a copy for your students (I would distribute via Google

Classroom).

Sticky notes on a slide

Matt Miller ( from Ditch the Textbook fame) recently shared a blog post on using

sticky notes in a Google Slide.  And better than just the step by step directions-

he also share the template (with premade notes, background, and arrows).  

I created a flowchart for my upcoming Digital Escape Room class. (I’m going

to include it in presentation.)
